Ingredients
- Chicken - 250 gm
- Light Soya Sauce - 2 tsp
- Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
- Egg - 1 no
- Corn Flour - 2 tsp
- Red Chilly Paste - 1 tsp
- Ingredients to make the Honey Chilly Sauce: -
- Chopped Garlic - 2 tsp
- Dried Red Chilly - 4 nos
- Red Chilly Paste - 2 tsp
- Honey - 2 tsp
- Light Soya Sauce - 2 tsp
- Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
- Vinegar - 10 ml
- Roasted Sesame Seeds - 1 tsp
- Vegetable Oil - 1 cup
- Spring Onion / Celery - 1 tbsp (for garnish)
- Salt to taste
Method
Step 1
Clean and cut the chicken pieces into strips.
Step 2
Take a bowl and add light soya sauce, corn flour, pepper powder, egg, red chilly paste, salt and make it into a paste.
Step 3
Marinate the chicken strips with this paste and keep aside for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Heat oil in a pan and fry the marinated chicken pieces until golden brown and keep it aside.
Step 5
Heat a pan and add oil, chopped garlic, dried red chilly, red chilly paste, light soya sauce, pepper powder, vinegar, fried chicken pieces, salt and mix it well on a high flame.
Step 6
After 3 minutes, add roasted sesame seeds, chopped spring onion or celery and mix well. Switch off the flame.
Step 7
Tasty Crispy Honey Chilly Chicken is ready.
