Naruneendi sarbath is a healthy and thirst quenching drink. The effort to make this sarbath or sharbat is little time consuming but it is very tasty. It helps to make the body heat down especially during summer season.This is a perfect refreshing drink can be serve to the guests, friends or other family members.

Naruneendi is an Indian medicinal herb and the root of naruneendi has a pleasant smell. It is available in all ayurvedic shops in India, Kerala. It has many health benefits. It is a good source for blood purifier, resistance against stomach heat, good for the eyes and skin etc.

To make Naruneendi sarbath, naruneendi syrup will add. Here is an easy method to make naruneendi syrup:

Ingredients

  • Naruneendi syrup - 3 tbsp
  • Lemon juice - 4 tbsp
  • Basil seeds - 1 tbsp
  • Cold water ( or soda ) - 1 class
  • Ice cubes - 2 nos

Method

Step 1

Soak the basil seeds in water. For 1 tsp of basil seeds add 4 tbsp of water and soak it for 10 minutes.

Step 2

Take a glass and add naruneendi syrup, lemon juice, cold water ( or soda ) and soaked basil seeds. Mix well with a spoon.

Step 3

Add ice cubes and serve chilled.

Step 4

Tasty Naruneendi Sarbath is ready. Decorate with lemon wedges.
